Who We Are
Built By & For Entrepreneurs
Offering Solutions for Small Businesses
A Brand New Way
Our team includes MBA’s and finance geeks, full stack engineers, and operational experts. We have former college athletes, outdoor enthusiasts, and BBQ cultists. Some are hunters, some are golfers, and some just like hanging out with their family on the weekends.
Some have thirty years of experience; some have 2 months. Some went to the fancy schools, others worked on Wall Street, some learned on the job and built-up deep industry expertise.
Collectively, we have learned business from sleeping under the shipping table, having invoices go unpaid and struggling to make payroll. We learned it from making great hires and terrible ones. We struck transformative deals for our companies and signed others that we would never do again.
There’s no substitute for experience, and no faster way to gain it than by building something from nothing.
Our respect for our fellow entrepreneurs flows from this experience. We know just how much pain, hard work and risk went into building a company that customers love and keep coming back to.
Regardless of interests or background, our team is committed to helping small business entrepreneurs and to our companies. We share a deep passion for small businesses of all types and are united by the belief that our best will always lie ahead of us.
We are entrepreneurs first and foremost. We founded Twelve31 with the purpose of helping businesses succeed.”

Our Guiding Principles
The Foundation of Twelve31
1. People Not Plans
A strong team is essential for the successful execution of even the most well-crafted plans. With the right team in place, the possibilities are endless.
2. Act With Resolve
Making difficult decisions can be challenging, but they are necessary for the overall well-being of the group.
3. Open Lines of Communication
Accessibility and open lines of communication are key for a leader to be successful. A leader who is not approachable by the team, is not leading.
4. Be Committed to Succeed
Commitment, risk, success, and failure are interconnected. Without commitment, the risk of failure increases, and the ability to fully commit is a major factor in achieving success.
5. Every Situation is New
Avoid making assumptions, as every deal is different. Approach each one with a unique perspective.
6. Never be Limited by Perceptions
Success knows no bounds as long as you do not impose limitations on yourself or let others do it for you.
When you are passionate about what you do, seemingly impossible goals can be accomplished.
8. Take Risks
In order to grow, you must push your limits. Learn from mistakes, adjust, and keep moving forward.
9. Think Different
Seek unconventional solutions and challenge the status quo to stand out and achieve success.
